COVID-19 related anxiety is very real and we want to support those coping with the unknown, adjustment, and grief related to job loss, postponing or having to miss life events, having to come home from school, and many other changes.
Mari's practice is providing financial contributions and free counseling services via Tia Balthrop and Travis Broome, Ed.S to help those facing these challenges. Tia is a current USF graduate student studying Clinical Social Work and interning with Mari. Travis is Mari's husband and works as an elementary school teacher and also as a Life Coach.
Given the nature of these times, they are both offering free 30 minute teletherapy sessions to help people cope with any anxiety, loneliness, restlessness, interpersonal problems, etc. that may arise due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the stay-at-home measures we’ve all begun taking. While the sessions will be free, we are encouraging a donation to be made to create extra protection for our health care workers.
Put the mask on yourself by reaching out for support AND be able to put the mask on others through your contribution. All donations go directly to the making and distribution of these masks.
